One AI file token processes one file. All AI tools share the same monthly file allowance, and a batch uses one token for each successfully processed file. Failed files do not count. Converter, compressor, PDF tools and Markdown have unlimited operations. All tools share file storage and keep their upload, retention and rate limits. The AI file allowance resets on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC, without rollover or automatic overage charges.

Which documents are supported?
Digital PDFs with selectable text, DOCX, XLSX and UTF-8 text documents. Images and scanned PDFs require OCR first. Embedded images and the original page layout are not preserved.
Can I automate this operation?
Yes. Pro includes API access to the same tools, batch options and results available here. Structured tools include JSON and CSV artifacts; text tools include Markdown and JSON. How are AI tokens counted?
One token processes one file. All AI tools share the same monthly file allowance. A batch reserves one token per selected file and charges only successfully processed files; failed files return their token. The allowance resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month. Converter, compressor, PDF tools and Markdown have unlimited operations and use no AI file tokens.
What happens with large documents?
Extracted text is processed in bounded sections. Results identify source sections rather than PDF page numbers. If a document exceeds the processing limit, it is flagged as unsuccessful and its file token is returned. Split it into smaller documents and try again.
Can I retry only the failed files?
Yes. While the original files remain selected in this browser, Retry failed files prepares just the unsuccessful inputs for another attempt. Review the selection before starting. Successful results stay in your history. After reloading or opening an earlier job, select the failed original files again.
Can I use the output without checking it?
AI output is a draft and can contain mistakes or omissions. Review against the source before use. CSV rows can repeat across sections and require reconciliation; extracted invoices are not accounting advice.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes. The current per-file limit is shown in the tool before upload and on the pricing page.
Are my files safe?
Files are transferred over HTTPS and deleted automatically after the retention period for your plan.
